Ridge Hospital is the first African hospital to obtain LEED® Healthcare Silver certification

An iconic project for Accra, the Ghanaian capital, where the hospital is slated to be a standard for medicine and surgery in West Africa.
This new set is part of a sustainable construction approach. Ridge Hospital was the first African hospital to obtain LEED® Healthcare Silver certification in December 2016.

For Portalp International, the “Franco-Americano-African” orientation of the project matched the organization of our own group. It is an important reference for PORTALP for both our hospital range and the organization required for this type of project.

This health center will improve Ghanaians’ access to healthcare, and the hospital is equipped with DIVA HDS Clean sliding hermetic doors. They come with an oculus and a stainless-steel finish to the leaves and are controlled by a hands-free switch with radar technology (Magic Switch).

The DIVA L sliding doors were installed in single- and double-leaf versions to secure the entrances.
